Challenges

The brief.

Because the wall already had age and movement in it, the rebuilt section needed to respect the original curve and stone character while still leaving a sound, tidy finish.

Outcome

The result.

The restored wall looks more coherent, secure and in keeping with the setting, improving both the approach and the boundary condition.
